Who this app is for

Remote Reviewer is a structured, criteria-referenced assessment platform used by RTOs, training organisations, and high-consequence industries to capture, review, and record real-world evidence of competency. This app is for the people who do that work day to day.

Candidates & learners

For candidates, learners, workers, and apprentices who have been invited to submit evidence as part of a Remote Reviewer assessment task. If you haven't received an invitation, contact your training organisation, employer, or assessor.

Reviewers & assessors

For reviewers and assessors who need to access their review queue on the go, return to tasks in progress, and keep assessments moving wherever they are.

A look inside the app

About Remote Reviewer

Remote Reviewer is built on a simple principle: completion records are not evidence of competency. Ticking a box that a course was finished tells you nothing about whether someone can actually do the job.

Every decision made by a person

Remote Reviewer captures timestamped, criteria-referenced video evidence of real performance - and puts the final assessment decision in the hands of a qualified human reviewer.

AI tools support reviewer efficiency, but no AI makes the final call. Every decision is made by a person.

Portable, interoperable evidence

Assessment data is stored as xAPI statements in a Learning Record Store, giving organisations evidence that isn't locked inside a single platform. That data can flow into LRS analytics, compliance reports, credentialing systems, and BI tools.

Industries and use cases

Remote Reviewer is used across a wide range of contexts where practical skills need to be assessed remotely and defensibly:

Vocational education & training (VET/RTO)
Trades and construction
Hospitality and service
Mining, resources, and energy
Petrochemicals and manufacturing
Healthcare and allied health
Language proficiency assessment
Corporate compliance & onboarding
